What does a wine tasting consist of?
Broadly speaking, the phases of a wine tasting:
VISUAL PHASE:
We will learn how to hold a wine glass correctly and we will analyze the color, and describe it
NOSE PHASE:
We will approach the wine glass and smell it, shake it to highlight secondary aromas and smell it again. Afterwards, we will shake again and smell the tertiary aromas or bouquet, and describe them.
TASTE PHASE:
we will learn to taste the wine and describe the taste, aftertaste, palate…
